The Humble Abode...

This is my humble abode or my hobbie or what you may call it; i'd even let you call it the room of a highly dangerous flamingo fanatic; yep that's right the first step to fixing a problem is admitting you have one!!! Anyway i decided it was best to just not take a picture of my outfit today because i'm sure i still have chili in my hair. We had a food fight last night at my friends birthday party; and well no matter how many showers i take i have a feeling its still there!!! Please share all war stories because i now understand how fun it is to throw old gooey, sticky food at friends!!!

Good old Show Business!!!

The outfit: vintage fish belt, with my wet seal turtle cardi, gap shirt and thrifted shoes, skirt and jewlery. And of course my favorite accessory my dog, Thor!!! This is an old picture from last year that has nothing to do with today besides the wheather; nice and rainy!!! I love the rain!!!!

Well I've had quite an exhilarating and exhausting weekend!!! (funny how those to often come hand and hand) Anyway Friday was the premiere of the musical I'm in "School House Rock" (very nerve racking) I ended up at my friend Julie's house for a sleepover, which was amazing!!! Then realized in the morning after, a thousand pictures and crepes, that i had to get ready for the next showing by that time i was already sleep deprived and a major bed head, it's all good though; i made it on time and did another amazing show!!! Then later that night was the last show which my family came to!! (I'll post cast pics next week) After me and the cast finished cleaning, we had cake and i went home for the first time that day. it was late and me and my brothers decided to go see "iron man 2" great movie, drunk super hero's never get old; and either does Robert Downey Jr. After my little brother Theo scored us a 20 gallon bag of popcorn,(i wish i was kidding) the place was about to throw out and I've been snaking on it since then. I'll be done and fat by the end of summer if i hurry!! Then for a big delicious cherry on top my sister came home from college for mothers day we played soccer, and watched Robert Downey Jr again in Sherlock Holmes which was very well done one of my faves, but they forgot one thing "elementary my dear Watson, elementary" . Sorry if i suckered you into reading this whole thing, thank you it really does make me feel special, and i love to share. How was yours? Birthday loot!!!

Last week was my birthday!!! It was so much fun my bestie threw me a surprise party!!! They were very very sneaky!!! he he
Well half the stuff is things that i got for many birthdays, ghost of birthdays past is what i like to call it!
Well there's not much else to say besides my skirt is just be, shoes from Singapore all the jewelery was birthday presents and the shirt i'm wearing says FLURTULE and my little brother gave it to me!!!

SUMMER!!!

Oh my gosh i can't wait till summer!!! I can taste it which sounds funky but its so true!!! This weekend i went to the lake it was just so warm and sunny!!! I'll probably end up living down there this summer!!! I'm just ready for summer!!!
Anyway this outfit is from last summer (strange ca-wink-a-dink aye) so it's a wrap skirt with a mother made belt and i stole some necklaces from her too!! And i made paper flowers for my hair!!!

Sorry kind of funky picture, well i was using the timer and i wasn't quite ready!! All well i like it less posed. its more real if you pick up what i'm putting down.
Any way the outfit is my wet seal dress and purple Doc Martins straight from my Moma's closet.
I just got back from St George yesterday, and boy do i miss the sun!!! Spring break is over which means all i have left to look forward to is summer!!! Well 33 school days and counting!!!

April Fools

So today it snowed, like Mother Natures cruel idea of a April Fools joke!!! Good one, now can we just have some sun!!! Sorry, the snow has just made me bored and grumpy!!!
On to happier things my outfit, is vintage from my $3 shoes, to my $5 skirt, and free jacket!!! I love all thrift stores for that sole reason!!!
I'll be crossing my fingers for some spring weather!!

The Spiffy Couple!!!

Alrighty so this is just sad!!! This is me and my brother Zerin after church on Sunday. Everyone in my family freakishly matched; me and my sisters were all wearing leopard in one way or another and then Zerin looks just as spiffy as me and in a way we match!!! I promise we didn't plan it it's just bazzar!!
So the outfit: go jane lepard heels(great website cute cheap shoes), with a just be skirt i'm wearing as a dress, my lepard jacket and my wetseal bow belt.
So remeber how i live in an extremely small town well the other day someone asked me about my belt i told them where i got it and they had never heard of wetsealwhich was just bewildering to me!!!(if you don't know wetseal either it's okay the shocks worn offf)

Dancing the weekend away!!!

This weekend i had a dance every night which was way fun!!! (except for i'm not the best dancer) "When in doubt dance it out" is what i say!!!

So for the first (school) dance i wore my Christmas dress, shinny star sandals and my 2 of my favorite necklaces. And i know this is a kind of funky picture; I'm just a little lazy so i didn't take anymore!!
Alrighty here's a face shot so you can see the top of my shirt and my disco ball earings!!

And for the next dance which tons more people were dancing:) Luckily!!! i wore my pink ruffled skirt(i wear it high waisted) with my brown sequindy top and my robin hood shoes!!!

And to top it off i went alittle "Night at the Roxberry"on you!!!(if you haven't seen this movie you need to its way funny) Forever 21 skirt, Michal Jackson shoes, and my new DI clip on earrings; yes my ears are pierst but i just like clipons!!!

I just saw Alice in Wonderland!!!! And why you should stay true to the classics the new one schooled the old cartoon. I t was absolutely amazing, good people great movie; and that's all i can say without wrecking it for you!!!
This is my polyvoreing Alice in Underland!!! (you'll understand later when you see the movie, i promise) It was pretty funny one row was taken up by everyone i went with, and it was packed (which is pretty rare) I especialy loved the clothes and animation extremely well done!!! YOU HAVE TO SEE IT!!! DEAL???

School House Rock!!!

So i tried out for the school musical, "School House Rock" (you know those little shows teachers show when they have a sub, or just really LOVE them) and I actually made it I'm in the chorus, but there were only 6 main roles, so its pretty amazing right!!! I promise you would think so too, if you heard me sing!!! It's going to be way fun since a ton of my friends are in it!!!

The Lake!!!

This pic is from last year durring the fall, down at the lake that's about 3 blocks from my house. It's just so amazing down there i love it. The boots are from Children Place i was kinda surprised they had my size, the scarf is from Portland, I love it!!!

SNOW!!!!

It snowed a ton today so we spent it making snow sculptures. So this is the one i made it's a dinosaur of some sort. I named it Nessy. As you can tell the head broke off right before the first 2. To make my dinosaur green i used a spray bottle and food coloring and it turned out pretty good if i say so myself.


So this one is the one my little sister Piper (she's in the last pic), my little brother Theo, my mom, and me made.
Oh ya my outfit is mainly vintage.

Riza in Wonderland!!!

This pic is from a while ago, but is defently one of my favorites. it reminds me of "Alice in Wonderland," when she drinks the potions and grows to big for the room she's in. Speaking of which; how much do you want to see the new Alice in Wonderland by Tim Burton? I'm way excited about it.

Merry Christmas

I know I'm a little late, but Merry Christmas and a very happy new year!!! I think I've just been busy enjoying partying and not being in school. School starts back up on Monday:( ,and I just hope it keeps snowing!!! I'm crossing my fingers for a snow day. Anyway my Christmas dress is vintage I got lucky thrifting; it was actually in the kids section, but it works. The flats, and the fur coat I got for christmas. The tights are a reward to myself for getting my christmas shopping done!

So these ones are from a while back and they still remind me of Newsies which is very appropriate since i had a newspaper route when i took this. (I quit after a month; lets just say that waking up at 5 in the cold, even with a friend is hard. Ended my news career.) I love both pictures, but i think i like the sepia one best. Gives it a more antiquity feel.

Superman!!!

These are some pictures from the summer. I feel kinda like superman, because of the primary colors, i have going on; lets just say this is more superman's forte. But i do love the tights! It's kinda sad, but i have almost every color tights; and i'm very proud of it!!!

Alright this pic is from the spring. I added the flowers on the shoes; I thought it needed a splash of color! My mom made the skirt (which is from her company just be...). I love this shot because of the rich colors, and the angle it was taken at. Also I'm pretty sure i got the whole "Hot Librarian" thing going on, so its all good.

The Rocking Horse

So the skirt I'm wearing is originally from forever 21, but i refined it a little bit. By adding a border with lace as you can kinda tell in this pic. Isn't that rocking horse sweet, my little sister got it for Christmas last year. So I've just been rockin' this outfit; if you pick up what I'm putting down.

Zerin's birthday

So Saturday was my brother, Zerin's birthday; so for his birthday he got the truck in this picture that lucky duck. (I got him eggnog; just so ya know) Anyway when i saw the truck covered in snow it kinda inspired me. And nothing was going to stop me from taking a picture on it; not even the cold. i was shivering lets hope it didn't show.
